Arena Season 3 Release Delayed
One of the reasons patch 2.3 was very much awaited was because it meant that the new season 3 for Arena PvP would soon follow. A new arena season mean a new set of arena gear rewards that are much better than the rewards of the two previous seasons. Season 3 also means that the arena rewards from season 1 would be available for purchase at the Battlegrounds rewards vendor using honor. For the reasons above, the coming of season 3 is very much anticipated by all players who love doing pvp, whether in battlegrounds or in the arena.
But alas, the guys at Blizzard announced that the release of season 3 will be delayed a week and will instead be released to November 27 instead of this coming week.
This allows us to have the quickest response time to any issues should they occur, and allows everyone to enjoy the holiday and the days leading up to it. While making everyone wait another week obviously isn’t the optimal outcome, in the end we decided it would be much worse to start Season 3 so close to the holiday and potentially make players wait longer until a problem can be resolved. Ultimately it allows us to provide the best possible service for everyone as we launch the new season.
Well, the delay is just a week. I’m sure we can all wait that short time. Anyway, this won’t stop us from accumulating the arena points and honor necessary to buy those pieces of gear we were eying.
