Cursed Dungeons?
Earlier today I did my first heroic with my new guild. While the guild is new, the people I ran with it with weren’t at all although it’s the first time i ran a heroic with some of them. We decided to do heroic Mechanar since one of my group mates wasn’t going to go unless it was for Sha’tar reputation.
Now I admit that I haven’t done a lot of heroics but Mechanar was the one I have done the most. While in there though it seemed like nothing was really going our way. We had a bad pull at the first mob and several wipes throughout the dungeon. Our first holy priest was feeling sick so she had to bail even before we took on Mechano-lord Capacitus. Good thing we were able to get another holy priest to fill in from within the guild. And then bad luck struck again in the room of Nethermancer Sepethrea when one member of the guild started having internet problems and eventually never returned. That’s when we called it. You may call it a bad turn of events but it seems it wasn’t the first time.
My group mates were talking about a recent heroic Mechanar run they did. It might have been the day before this run occurred even. Circumstances have also led them to not finish the run. They’re starting to think that Mechanar is cursed! Of course it’s not but it’s certainly doing a great job in making us think it is. Do you have similar experiences with “cursed” dungeons?
