WoW-EU CM Vaneras conducted a poll about the favorite 5 man in The Burning Crusade Expansion. The question goes as such:

It could be the atmosphere, the story, the challenge or the loot itself, but no matter what everybody has a favourite dungeon. Of the 5 person dungeons released in The Burning Crusade what is your favourite?

The results are pretty surprising.

My understanding is that Black Morass isn’t a very popular dungeon because of its difficulty even in normal mode. Personally I hate it to pieces. I don’t like Old Hillsbrad that much better either. If Thrall wasn’t such a noob then I’d probably think about it. I’m also quite surprised that Botanica is a bit more popular than I expected. Because it’s such a long dungeon I hate doing it. As for my personal favorite dungeon, I’d probably have to say I like Steam Vault the best. It’s an odd dungeon because the first “room” seems to be the hardest part so everything is smooth sailing after you clear it. What is your favorite 5 man TBC dungeon?

I would have to agree with the list. Old Hillsbrad Foothills is cool even if you dont do the Thrall event. You can explore all the areas and see all of your favorite NPCs back in the day sitting in Southshore. A real cool addition if you have some time to explore and remember some of the NPCs from the storylines.

In terms of bringing new flavor to our dungeon raiding, Black Morass and Old Hillsbrad do deserve top honors, I admit. Unfortunately as far as actually raiding the dungeon, they aren’t tops in my book. I’m actually excited though about the Old Stratholme dungeon coming in WoTLK since it’s another CoT dungeon. Hopefully it’s going to be as awesome as BM and Old Hillsbrad in terms of the lore and originality but not as annoying to complete.
