Finally! Elekk And Hawkstrider PvP Mounts
Ever since the introduction of the Blood Elf and Draenei races for the Burning Crusade expansion and their respective mounts, I thought it was only logical that Blizzard make their epic mounts available for PvP rewards. After all, all the other mounts have been put up for us to get. TBC release came and I was disappointed that the 2 mounts weren’t included.
I’ve been ranting about this for a long time now and finally it seems like I can stop. MMO Champion reports that the Swift Hawkstrider and Black War Elekk are now available in the PTR’s as PVP rewards so we should be seeing them by the time patch 2.4 comes. Yay!
I have two blood elf characters above level 40 but they happen to warlock and paladin. My warlock is just level 47 but my paladin is currently 63 and doing the epic mount quest chain. I’m finding that the epic mount quest chain of my paladin can be kind of annoying and could just end up being just about as expensive as buying an epic hawkstrider if I end up buying some of the items rather than farming for them. If I decide to get my warlock past 60, I just might end up getting this PvP hawkstrider to save myself the trouble of questing.
