I Want A PvP Epic Hawkstrider!
Even with the availability of flying mounts now, epic grounds mounts are still very much necessary. After all, they’re only available at 70 and can only be used in the Outlands. Let’s face it, a lot of guys leveling from 60 to 70 don’t have the kind of cash to pay the cost of the mount and the training to ride it. Or at least they’d rather cut expenses to pay for the flying mount for when they hit 70. The PvP epic mount rewards help cut costs by allowing players to pay for their epic mount through Battleground marks of honor (but you still need to pay the training cost).
This is a cheaper way to get epic mounts from another race too. I see so many Tauren with the PvP Raptor instead of their kodo. I see Trolls on epic kodos too. That’s because it’s much easier now that you just need marks of honor. Back in the day, you needed to turn in so much cloth to get exalted with the faction you want the mount from.
With the release of the Burning Crusade expansion, the blood elf and the draenei races were introduced. I was expecting that you could PvP for their hawkstrider and elekk epic mounts too. I was quite disappointed when I found out you couldn’t. Blizzard, please allow us to PvP for the new races’ mounts! I want a my epic hawkstrider!
