Instant Messenger For WoW
The game already has a friends list and a guild tab but what if Blizzard stepped it up a notch? I came across this Chinese developed MMORPG called Perfect World. It’s currently available here in the Philippines under Level Up Games. One thing that caught my eye about that game was their Perfect World Messenger, which is basically the game’s instant messenger that’s available inside and even outside the game.
One problem I have is that most of my in game friends are people I know only in the game. This became a problem when I took a break for five months before and my only connection to my in game friends was the guild message board. That meant I could only talk to my fellow guild mates. I could imagine how much better it would have been if I had a game messenger I could take outside the game and worked even if your account was frozen.
Another nice use for this would be to communicate with your guild mates and friends when you can’t get to the game at the moment. Let’s say it’s patch day and you’re all downloading the patch. It would be nice to talk to your friends even if you’re out of the game. I like keeping in touch with the friends I made in the game so this feature would be awesome if ever Blizzard made it available.
