Juvenile PvP At The Isle

I’ve been reading a lot of threads in the forums about how PvE realms are generally progressing faster than PvP ones in terms of the Battle For Sun’s Reach world event at the Isle of Quel’danas. The obvious conclusion is that the reason why this is so is because the Horde and the Alliance are ganking each other to prevent or at least delay the other from completing the daily quests. I’ve read that even raids groups are formed precisely to for this purpose.

I just want to say that I’m terribly turned off by this behavior. The Battle For Sun’s Reach isn’t exactly a time and place for juvenile faction wars to occur. This isn’t about Horde vs. Alliance and much more is it not about Aldor vs. Scryers. We’re all at the Isle to help the Shattered Sun Offensive by doing the quests to go through the different phases of the event. The faster we complete, the faster we can get more dailies and the new badge gear. Don’t you guys want that? I’m sure the answer is yes, so all you guys who are involved in this kind of behavior just bug off and help your server like you should!

This is one reason why I’m glad I play in a PvE server!

2 opinions for Juvenile PvP At The Isle

Let me give an example of why this is alright: I’m a holy paladin on a PvE server, meaning very rarely do I get to kill flagged horde. Yesterday I was running around doing the dailies on Sunwell Island when I came across a flagged orc rogue with about 20% health. After watching him run around for a good 2 or 3 mins I put myself in a position where I knew it would appear he was running up to me, not the other way around. As soon as he got close enough I cast holy shock, hammer of justice, hammer of wrath (I think those names are right). He dropped dead in about 5 seconds and I was one happy holy pally. I rode as quickly as I could to the FP to begin doing the bombing quest, which took 3 tries to complete : / Needless to say, riding from one side of the isle to the other, while flagged, was one of the most thrilling solo things I’ve done in game in awhile : )

If he was just running around, then that’s ok. Just please don’t kill people to purposely stop or delay them from doing their quests
