Level 70 Fun At The Scarlet Monastery Graveyard
It’s the Hallow’s End season in World of Warcraft and that means more trick or treating, more going around in gnome masks, more turning people into bats and all that usual stuff. But this Hallow’s End just became more fun with the Headless Horseman fights. Personally I haven’t done any of the minor fights where the Headless Horseman attacks the towns but I have done the encounter inside the SM graveyard.
The SM graveyard encounter involves fighting the Horseman as a level 70 elite so it needs a 5 man group of 70’s. It’s pretty tough the first time around because the many phases of the fight is a bit surprising but once you get the hang of the fight it’s actually pretty easy. Considering this encounter drops level 70 epic rings, a cool epic plate helm that laughs like the Horseman himself and a bunch of other stuff, it’s actually a very easy effort with excellent rewards. To make things even cooler, each person can summon the Horseman once per day until the end of Hallow’s End. That means 5 chances for that nice ring or helm you want to drop. Just keep resetting the dungeon.
Honestly I think that Horseman should be a permanent boss in the SM graveyard for level 70’s to do. People are always looking for nice ways to go back to the old content so I think this encounter can be a step in the right direction in achieving that.
