Patch 2.3 Is Ready For Download!
It’s November 13 and Blizzard has delivered on their word that Patch 2.3 was scheduled for release today. It’s here ready for download right now! As in I’m downloading it right now, now! Stop reading this and and download it already!
That was a joke. Please don’t stop reading. But I’m not kidding about the patch being here. Just look at my cool screen shot of the patch being downloaded to this computer. As you can see it’s 281 MB.
The patch has been the subject of most discussions on the official forums and all other wow forums, blogs and message boards over the world wide web. It’s because not only is it a patch that will give us Zul’aman the new 10 man dungeon, but it will also give a lot of class changes, guild banks, leveling changes, and other cool new stuff. Soon enough, the new season 3 arena gear will come out as well.
The patch has so much to offer. Personally I think this patch is the biggest in terms of the amount of cool new changes the game has given us so far. With all these new things to do and test out, what’s the very first thing you’ll do? Personally, I think I’ll log into my main (my 70 undead mage) and get the ritual of refreshment. I might even host a picnic outside Org (an idea given to me by a fellow mage friend).

I have to say that this patch had some of the best changes. Changing the XP for low levels, removing the elites, and all the little UI and map tweaks makes it more enjoyable to lvl my old toons that became lvl 20-40 Banks LOL. Everything got boring….Not being able to find groups for elite quests and all the low lvl grinding lost my interest. 60+ is where the game gets fun anyway, especially with BC. Good call Blizz!

It’s why I consider patch 2.3 one of the coolest patches Blizz ever released. Nice to know you pretty much feel the same way. =)

hey. the when i try to get onto wow it says it has a problem trying to download it, then doesnt let me on. if i downloaded this patch, would it let me on?

Yes, as always you need the latest patch to play the game. Check with tech support to ask them what you can do about your problem.
