Some Add-ons To Be Built Into WoTLK?

One of the greatest things about World of Warcraft is the fact that you can customize the game with all sorts of add-ons to fit what you like. There are many different ones out there and some have proven to be so good that Blizzard offered to have them built in the game. CT Raid was every raiders tool and it definitely was useful. While not an add-on, voice chat programs like Team Speak and Ventrilo was also pretty much a staple for everyone who wanted to progress in PvE content and even in PvP.

CT Raid, Ventrilo and Team Speak already have their own built-in versions in the game and given this trend it really won’t be a surprise if others will follow in their footsteps. Blizzard Poster Slouken mentioned that there are plans to have built-in versions of the Threat Meter, Item Rack and Outfitter for the WoTLK expansion.

These are planned features for WotLK, but haven’t been started yet, so no promises. :)

I agree that at least the Threat Meter (like Omen and KTM) is necessary for any dungeon raiding player around. I remember someone telling me that the Threat Meter add-on is the one add-on everyone should have. It makes the tank’s job easier and it also tells the DPS when they should go easy on the damage. So I do expect to see at least the Threat Meter built into the game in the future.

Depends what you want. But all PvE players definitely need some kind of threat meter. Get Omen or KTM.
