Tale Of The Healer Shortage
I just remembered a brief period of my guild’s history that was so ridiculous it was so funny! I guess since I don’t have much to write about today, I might as well share the experience.
During the days my guild the Thundercats was still growing, we had the usual man power problems a small guild would have and at the time we had a real shortage of healers. In fact for a certain stretch we had only one healer, good old Shinnock the Tauren shaman who at the time was specced Restoration. Let’s just say he was very popular in the guild and he definitely had no shortage of action. When he was on he was sure to get into a group ready to do a dungeon.
The fate of whether or not we would see some dungeon action was in his hands. So when he had to log off to go to bed since he had classes the next day, we were all sad. When he left, some guildies logged off as well while others just resorted to doing some PvP or grind some cash or materials for crafting.
Fortunately, the guild has enough healers now so this scenario would probably never happen again. Have you had experiences like this wherein in your plans for playtime rests on one or a couple of people showing up?
