The Noobiest Thing I Ever Did
It’s excusable to do some nooby things as a new player trying to learn the game but you must admit that sometimes, players who’ve been playing for a while now still do some of it. What I’m about to share is the noobiest thing I’ve done so far and it happened just a few days ago.
I’ve been playing the game since 2005 as a mage. But my new guild needed healers so they were willing to gear up my holy paladin and after a while she’s pretty much become my main now.
So I brought my paladin to heal for a guild group that went to Old Hillsbrad and then Black Morass right after, both on normal difficulty. the group consisted of myself, a protection paladin, a fire mage, a hunter and a feral druid who went kitty to dps. we were tearing up the whole place in OHB right up until the stairs before you down to Thrall. The feral druid died as a result of pulling a bunch of mobs before I could get to her spot and heal. So after the whole fight with the group of mobs that killed the druid I went to resurrect her. As shown in the image below, my rez button is right beside my hearth stone. Do the math!
I realized what I did when a loading screen popped up after the cast bar finished and I got confirmation of this when I found myself in the Scryer inn in Shattrath City. My group mates couldn’t believe what I just did so to punish me, they all took a break and made me fly all the way to Tanaris and back into the instance.
I’ve shared mine. What’s the noobiest thing YOU have ever done?

Back in 2004 (I began playing on Day 1) while exploring east of Duskwood, I went into Deadwind Pass and saw a sign that warned me to turn back. So I did!
I never knew about the Swamp of Sorrows until my first characters were too high to quest there, all because I was obedient to that sign.
