We Should Get Arena Points From All Our Ratings
The way we’re going to get our arena points by patch 2.3 is going to change because of personal ratings. But this doesn’t change the fact that we only get ratings from our highest rated team. I firmly believe that our 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 teams all should contribute something to the arena points we get at the end of the arena week. Why? Because assuming we play the minimum 10 games for each arena category, that means we worked for those games and we should get something back.
This never bothered me when I just had a 2v2 team and nothing else. Now that I have a 3v3 team too, I feel that the effort I put into the lower rated team is just a waste of time. I suggest that while the highest rated team gets 100% of the arena points it’s supposed to get, the middle rated team and the lowest rated team (assuming you have a team of each arena category) should get even a small percent of what it would get if it were the highest rated one. I think it’s only fair that we get a little something back for those games that we worked for but at the moment don’t count for anything at the end of the arena week.

I feel the same way with how they calculate points and agree that we should get something for all the other teams. I have a 2v2, 3v3, and a 5v5 team which I only really play on the 5v5 team the most for points and the others just for fun or for points if for some reason our 5v5 didn’t get together that week.

First of all, it won’t be 1k arena points. If you read the post at all, it’s not like every bracket would get the full amount.
What’s the point in playing in all brackets and getting points in just one? None! Even if you get like 10% of the points from the other two brackets then that would make the zero sum nature of the arena tournament a bit less painful.
