I’m sure there were many threads about things you could find in World of Warcraft or other computer games that don’t make sense if you were to apply them to real life. I found a thread on the WoW EU forums that have some really funny ones.
Being almost dead does not at all affect your overall performance from being fully healthy.

If poison is slowly killing you simply sit down and have a banana.

Killed animals often tends to drop things a human might find interesting, such as jeans, and iPods.

20 dinosaur hides take the same space as a handful of scrolls.

An 8′ polearm will fit in my pocket.

Boat travel between continents takes no more than a couple of minutes.

All clothes fit everyone, even a gnome can wear a Tauren’s clothes.

You can wear the same cloths in a freezing winter landscape and a hot scalding desert without any side effects.

A pig that lives in Outland is stronger than a dragon that lives in Bloodmyst.

And here’s my own: Warlocks cannot use drain life on mechanical enemies but can drain their life! 0.o
